2016 KMZ files are now available for BIA, BOR, BLM and NPS. Right click on the files and save to the desktop. Open GoogleEarth and then open the files.
Notice: These fire occurrence KMZ files are intended for use with GoogleEarth. While the files can be opened with Google Maps, it is not recommended, as Google Maps has a display limit of (approximately) 1000 points.
Please be patient when opening these large KMZ files in GoogleEarth - they can take a few minutes to load and display.
