Data Management - Interagency Data Management Environment (IDME)

Overview

Names change, but the intent is the same to provide an agile, interagency data environment that meets the comprehensive needs of the Wildland Fire and Incident Support Community.

What is the Interagency Data Management Environment?

The IDME is a modern data architecture that enables governed, self-service analytics across wildland fire. The IDME puts data modeling responsibilities in the hands of Information Technology (IT), and report-generation and analysis into the hands of business users who do analysis.

Where we're going...

Formerly known as the Data Cache or Data Cache System, the Interagency Data Management Environment (IDME) is the environment and architecture being designed through which interagency data will move, be transformed, and be served up to users.
